September 8: MORIRSE ESTA EN HEBREO (MY MEXICAN SHIVAH) – Mexico, 2006 - Dir. Alejandro Springall. Presenter: Prof. Tamara Falicov - Kansas University.

September 15: MAR DE SUEÑOS (SEA OF DREAMS) - Mexico, 2005 - Dir. José Bojorquez (has been invited to the presentation). Presenter: Prof. Danny Anderson - Kansas University.

September 22: HERMANAS (SISTERS) – Argentina, 2005 - Dir. Julia Solomonof. Presenter: Prof. Miguel González-Abellás - Washburn University.

September 29: MACHUCA - Chile, 2004 - Dir. Andrés Wood. Presenter: Prof. Louis Imperiale - University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Films will be shown at the RIO Theatre – 7204 W. 80th Street (one block West of Metcalf Ave.) – Overland Park, Kansas – Tel. (913) 383-8500. Program starts at 11:00 o’clock. All films are in Spanish with English subtitles, unless otherwise indicated. The audience is invited to participate in the group discussions following each showing. For reasons out of our control, program may be subject to change.

ADMISSION $6.00 PER PERSON. PASSES TO THE FIVE FILMS MAY BE PURCHASED AT THE THEATER FOR $25.00 ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE FESTIVAL
