Los Colores de la Montaña (The Colors of the Mountain) - Colombia, 2010


Storyline:
This Colombian-Panamanian film tells the story of an unnamed village in a mountainous region of present-day Colombia, focusing on its children from the perspective of 9 year old Manuel. The film revolves around the children’s lives, the growing number of absent students at school, and families fleeing while paramilitaries and guerrillas move in and fight for control of the area.



El ÚltimoTraje (The Last Suit) - Argentina, 2017


Storyline:
Abraham Bursztein, an 88 year-old Jewish tailor, runs away from Buenos Aires to Poland, where he intends to find a friend who saved him from certain death at the end of World War II. After seven decades without any contact with him, Abraham will try to find his old friend and keep his promise to return one day.



Los Adioses (The Eternal Feminine ) - Mexico, 2018


Storyline:
In the early 1950s in Mexico City, Rosario Castellanos is fighting to have a voice in a society run by men. She is about to become one of the biggest female writers in Mexican literature, but her tumultuous love story with Ricardo Guerra will manifest her fragility and contradictions. At the peak of her career and her marriage, she will ignite a discussion that will mark a turning point in her life.






Las Herederas (The Heiresses ) - Paraguay / Uruguay / Germany / Brazil / Norway / France, 2018


Storyline:
Chela and Chiquita both descended from wealthy families in Asunción, Paraguay. They have been together for over 30 years; but recently, their financial situation worsened and they begin selling off their inherited possessions. When their debts lead to Chiquita’s imprisonment on fraud charges, Chela is forced to face a new reality.
